There is free wifi with a password but it is only available on the ground floor. Rooms are basic but clean. Shower stalls are tiny and our shower head kept falling off the holder as it was broken. There was no bath in our room. We had a room with a balcony over the street which I would recommend you try to get. Had to fight with the aircon a bit to get it to work in the middle of the night. We were on the third floor and there is no lift so got a bit sick of dragging stuff up and down the steps. Nonetheless, a pleasant location in the lovely old town of Marbella and decent place to stay. No parking on the street, but there is a cheap parking lot a two minute walk away at the Centro Mercado.
No lift, flaky aircon, soft mattress.
Good location near the action but on quiet street, 24hr reception
Nothing terrible, just a basic, backpacker-style hostel - no elevator, ac wasn't working, no breakfast
Nice hotel, cleaned, nice stuff
Lights some times goes on sometimes off also the air condition is not excellent with our triple room .
This is not a hotel. It is a hostel. Someone should get a spray can and paint an "s" on the sign. The room was tiny and dirty. The air conditioner was more like a cheap fan. The shower was tiny and filthy. The beds were dirty and uncomfortable. The hotel staff is awful. They are outright rude and unhelpful. My wife asked the guy at the desk where the nicest beach is and he shrugged and said "I don't know." the closest beach is Venus, which is filthy and tiny. 100 euros a night for the worst hotel in Spain. I have stayed in hostels for 1/4 the price that were much cleaner and nicer.
We liked the old town of Marbella and the hotel was perfect for staying for a short break..
We were very disappointed as our room wasnt ready at 6.00pm and we had to rush to get out for an appointment at 7.00pm.
Nice little family hotel situated in the very beautiful old part of Marbella. Fantastic position away from the hustle and bustle but just minutes from great bars and restaurants. Rooms were clean and tidy but very basic. Staff were very polite and helpful.
We stayed in August, but even for August I felt the price was very expensive for what you get. The two rooms we had were very small. Probably the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. It is really a hostel with air conditioning in each room. No parking by the hotel, make sure you get an overnight parking space, we did not and had a parking ticket at 9am. The first room we were given, room 301, had a very old bed which made so much noise it would be impossible to sleep. A small investment from the hotel in a new bed would solve this problem of course. We asked for a new room which was given to us without any issue. This new room was fine.
The location is excellent and although my room was on the small side the other rooms I saw where plesant and roomy. I was only there for a couple of nights so the room size was not a detriment. Everything was clean and tidy although the shower head was a bit "iffy". You were likely to spray the room rather than your body if not careful. Very handy for the old town and handy little bar next door for a late drink
A little bit hard to find. I would recommend anydody going there to park uo at the Mercado Municpal and ask directions. It is about three minutes walk from the market but not easy by car.
Situated right in center of old town. Comfortable while not luxurious.
The position in the centre of the town
The sheets weren't very clean, as they had a lot of spots, the shower was dirty and old and above all there was a huge snot on the bathroom's door.
Love it! Staff were great! Location was amazing. We loved sleeping in, going for a coffee, walking a very short distance to the beach, relax, have a drink in the beach, walk back through a beuitifuly old town in Spain, have a great dinner from one of hundreds of nice resturants and cap it off with a night cap!
Nothing, only hard to get to by car becasue it is in an old town with little access to the hotel (expcted) and hard to find parking (expected)
Located in the Old Quarter.
There were only 4 spots available for parking, impossible to reserve, so be prepared to pay for overnight parking elsewhere. Add $30.00+ to your stay.
The staff is very friendly an accommodating and the location is ideal.
The website said it had internet in each room, but it was only available in the lobby.
Staying in the heart of the Old Quarter, 'Casco Antiguo', was a unique experience for my wife and I. There is plenty of history and ancient architecture to admire here and this is supplemented with several bars, restaurants and small shops tucked away in the narrow streets and alleys. In the evening the whole place comes to life and we loved to soak up the vibrancy around us.The sea front is a leisurely stroll away and access to the public bus services is conveniently nearby. The 'Linda Marbella' is small and neat, well kept and with helpful staff. No food or drinks are served at any time but we found this a minor inconvenence due to the abundance of bars close by.
If you must have an early morning cup of tea, take a travel kettle.
The picturesque location, in the heart of the old town, was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful. The basic but bright and clean room with a balcony were excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again.
Would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities, but then again there were numerous cafes right on the doorstep, so it wasn't a big problem.
Excelent location to explore the city and its wonders
